On Monday the 9th June, our school met Peter O'Mahony, who was captain of Munster and Ireland. He was very excited to see his old school again.
In the morning, we brought our chairs down to the field. We sat down in the field. Some of Peter's old teachers visited the school as well to greet him.
We all got settled, and waited for Peter O'Mahony to arrive.
Soon, Peter O'Mahony arrived in the gate.
We were so excited for Peter O'Mahony to arrive in the field.
The Bodhrán Bookills gave Peter a guard of honor. Everyone started cheering and screaming in excitement for Peter O'Mahony.
Then I handed Peter O’Mahony a trophy on behalf of all the school.
The boys had a chance to ask him some interesting questions.
